Vaishnodevi is the hill shrine located in the Himalayan region dedicated to Goddess Vaishnodevi. Vaishnodevi or Vaishnavi is the wife of Lord Mahavishnu. She is the incarnation of Goddess Mahalakshmi. The hill is named “Vaishnodevi” due to the Vaishnodevi temple shrine situated there.
