How to view Tamil Unicode fonts in windows XP?
Go to
Control panel >> regional and language options >> “Languages” tab >> check the option “Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai)” >> “Apply” and “Ok”
Windows XP installer disc needs to be inserted. After a system restart Tamil letters would be readable.
How to view Tamil Unicode fonts in Linux / Ubuntu?
If you don’t have Tamil opentype fonts already then install it.
Change your browser’s encoding to UTF-8
Still if you can’t read Tamil letters, then use TSCu_paranar.ttf as your default font in your browser. Restart browser.

Use Tamil Unicode writer (thaminglish) to type in English and see it in Tamil.
If the fonts are unclear in a browser simply copy and paste it in Text Editor.
