Need for Wayback Machine
- Suppose you know a very good site and due to some reasons the author deletes the entire site and the site is non existent now. What do you do now? Go to Wayback Machine and type the URL of the site. You can instantly access the site which was archived by Wayback Machine.

How to add my site to Wayback Machine?
option 1 - Adding your blog / site is simple. Go to Wayback Machine; register yourself so that you can add any number of sites. The sites will be added within 24 hours. But the sites will be visible in Wayback Machine only after six months. But after which your site updates will automatically be archived in the Wayback Machine.

option 2 - If you don’t want to register but still want to add your site to Wayback Machine visit this page. Go to the bottom and input your URL and press the button “Crawl My Site”.

option 3 - The Wayback Machine and the Internet Archive is supported by Alexa Internet. Use Alexa toolbar for Internet Explorer and visit your site. Alexa toolbar automatically shows related sites when you visit a page. This way your site gets archived automatically in the Wayback Machine.

Also place the Meta Tags properly as Alexa considers the Meta data of a site very vital.
