Beat the Heat
Simple Natural ways to beat the hottest climate this summer.
1. Apply natural sandal wood paste in the face, forehead, neck, hands, stomach and other parts of the body. Sandalwood is a natural cooler and also protects the skin from excessive heat. You may also apply before going to sleep and wash it in the next morning.
2. Drink tender coconut juice after taking the meals. Note that tender coconut juice should not be taken while the stomach is empty. It cools the body temperature, helps in digestion and looks after good functioning of liver.
3. Drink buttermilk daily. Eat lots of cucumber. Also drink sweet lime juice (Mosambi / Sathukudi Juice).
4. If you tend to go outside during afternoon umbrella is a must.
5. Don’t take cool drinks and ice creams as they may complicate the issue further.
6. Wear thin cotton clothes.
Above all drink plenty of water. No need to buy Air conditioner (A/C)… Tender coconut juice and Mosambi (Sweet Lime) juice themselves generates A/C in our body!
