Kutralam

kutralam_water_fallsKutralam is a place located near Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu. It can be reached via Sengottai. Kutralam lies in the Tamilnadu Kerala border.

Kutralam is famous for water falls. The climate is cool and enjoyable. There are two main water falls (1) the main falls (2) the aintharuvi (five streams of water). Both are very famous. If you visit Kutralam in the months of January or February you can witness a cool climate as well as the full speed of the water falls.

There are lots of waterfalls in India. But, the specialty about the kutralam water falls are its purity, medical value etc., Kutralam water falls has the capacity to cure Tonsillitis, Blood Pressure, Cough, cold and many more diseases.

Most of the people think that if we take bath in kutralam cold might attack, but contrarily, if we take bath the herbal water will fight against cold and other diseases.

The water here passes through a lot of valuable medical herbs and hence it has the capacity to cure a lot of ailments.

People even stand in the falls for about 2 to 3 hours. It is believed that even people who are mad if took bath in Kutralam water falls for some days will get cured. Such is the purity of kutralam water falls. You are recommended to take bath in the Kutralam main falls as it is more effective.

South Indian food is available and the food tastes good. If you plan to visit tamilnadu or south India, then Kutralam is not a place to be missed for sure.

If you go to Kutralam (gallery) you can find a lot of our ancestors, i.e., monkeys. Drinking water would be very tasty there.

The water almost falls at around 200 kilometers per hour speed. There is also a belief that if one takes bath in Kutralam he will get rid of the sins that he has done in his past.

I am sure that if one visits Kutralam, eventually the person will find the place ethereal.

yaa it’s very beautiful place.Each and every year im going to visit that beautiful place.nearly 20 times i went.One important thing is season is from jan to feb and july to aug. After august there is a lots of water flowing so no one can take bath. i saw lots and different kinds of fruits which is so tasty.

I am planning a trip to ernakulam, kerala from trichy. Could you please tell me the rail route and road route from both trichy and ernakulam. I am keen on visiting kutralam. Thanks.
