Hypertension

After waking up in the early morning one should drink one or two glasses of pure drinking water. When the blood pressure seems to be raising one should avoid salt completely. After the hypertension has reduced we can use salt, but only after frying the salt and also using only half the salt whenever needed.

People who are affected by blood pressure or hypertension should try to be calm. They should try to get rid of their anger. They should do their job without any haste and with lots of patience.

Symptoms of hypertension may be:

Blurred vision;
Dizziness;
Headaches; and
Facial flushing.

Symptoms of severe hypertension can advance to:

Nausea;
Irregular or rapid heartbeat;
Vomiting;
A buzzing noise in the ear;
Shortness of breath; and
Blurred vision.

Whenever they feel any of these symptoms they should lie down in such a way that their face faces the sky. They should close their eyes and without thinking about anything they should relax. Diluted butter milk can be taken often. They should wash their face with water (room temperature) frequently.

People affected by hypertension should avoid coffee and tea. Also potatoes, green chillies and bananas (both ripe and unripe) should be avoided. It’s better to take bath in ordinary water (not in cold water). They should avoid direct sunlight to some level.

Garlic, Elachi, lemon and tender coconut will reduce hypertension. Taking oil bath (oil applied in the head) using gingely or sesame oil may reduce hypertension or blood pressure to a huge extent.
