Diabetes

Eighty out of hundred people get this disease due to heredity. The other twenty get affected by diabetes due to their irregular lifestyle, binge eating habits, and eating sugar, jaggery while hungry. Those who do not eat food at right intervals or those who do not sleep well will also get diabetes. The reason for diabetes is excess body heat.

Some diabetes symptoms include:

Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Extreme hunger
Unusual weight loss
Increased fatigue
Irritability
Blurry vision

Eating sugar and jaggery must be stopped immediately. Potatoes, bananas, mangoes (both ripe and unripe) and Guava fruit must not be eaten.

Food intake must be in regular intervals. Food stuff made out of rice must be eaten only once per day. We should practice to eat wheat and ragi (kezhvaragu) based food items. Those who are fat must wake up in the early morning and walk for 3 to 4 kilometers.

Diabetes patients should go to bed before 9pm. They should eat before 7pm and only after an hour they should go to sleep. Gingely oil or sesame oil should be taken in large amounts by those who are affected by diabetes.
